Hoppy Easter!

What a weekend!!! We had egg hunts galore, makeup soccer games and K diggity for an extra day on Friday and everyone was off work/school!!

On Friday, Kyle and I managed to work in a day date to see The Hunger Games while the kiddos hung out at Mimi's house. We both read the books and as always the books were WWWWAAAYYY better than the movie. But 3 hours alone with my Kyser makes anything worth it! After the movie, we picked up the kiddos and headed back home for naps before heading back to Mimi and Jojo's for our first Easter party of the weekend. We had a delicious dinner, opened Easter baskets from Kyle's dad and stepmom, and then hunted Easter eggs {be prepared for picture overload because pretty much everything the kids did this weekend was cute :)}

Ready, set...GO!!

 It was nearly impossible to get pictures of the girls other than their backs because they were always running!

 Special K getting a little assistance from Mimi :)

 Yup...still cute :)
 They were in a hurry for something!

 All finished.

Saturday was makeup day for soccer opening weekend. Corin had another 8:00 AM game {over them} but played pretty well. She is fast, but still needs to work a bit on getting aggressive...given how much she and Leah fight I'm not sure why this is a problem! We had a bigger break in the day than normal and actually got to have lunch and nap at home before leaving for Leah and Coach Lang's game! Only 4 girls made it for the Rocking Rainbows and one of them had no interest in playing...so 3 girls got to play the whole game in the 3:00 Texas sun. They were awesome!! They tied and the opposing coach said they were one of the best teams he had played all season and asked them to team up for academy league next year. Way to go girls!!!

Saturday night we dyed eggs and cooked out. We managed not to have any huge messes, but I have no idea how the kids {especially Leah} had the energy to keep running around in the backyard while Kyle cooked!
 We let the girls get things started first...
 Kasen taking it all in from the O-Deck

 Pretty sure Kasen tried to take one of Corin's eggs...
 and then it was the boys turn!

 Maddy and KJ's eggs before...
 My Dream Team :)
 and after :(

Sunday morning we made it to Mass {ummm, where are all of these parishioners every other Sunday???} Then it was out to Pearpa and Grandma's for Easter lunch and another egg hunt! We had great food and dessert with MawMaw and the Starks and then it was off to the backyard!

After opening their goodies and a couple of turns at driving the tractor, it was time to call it a day :)

So we dropped Kasen off in Benbrook where the kids got more cute stuff from Kasen's mom {spoiled much??} and then headed home.

 {potty training in progress...just ignore the shirt :)}

So now it's time for a whole lot of this...

HAPPY EASTER from the LANGS!!
