This past Sunday the Longhorn cheerleaders and some of their siblings headed over to the Stimacs house for Christmas crafting! Tricia, you are one brave lady!!! The girls made reindeer ornaments and food, decorated cookies and made gingerbread houses!
The reindeer ornaments were like little bead puzzles. Once they were complete, you ironed the back for them to stick together!
Then it was time for reindeer food! Everyone knows you have to add glitter so the reindeer can see it in your yard from the sky! Tricia, is all of the glitter gone yet?!?!
On to decorating cookies...Leah looks guilty!
So many candies for Madeleine to pick from...
Corin getting her cookie ready with some icing.
Catherine waiting for her turn with the candies.
Emma figuring out the whole icing thing.
Emma and Reagan both seems to have "who me?" faces here!
Mackenzie cheesing it up.
Carly waiting on some candy.
Meaghan working on some icing.
Avery getting things started.
And now time for the gingerbread houses. The moms pre-assembled the houses. This was um, interesting. None of the houses were the same and they didn't seem to fit together all that well. I think Avery and Carly ended up having to glue theirs once they got home. But who cares when there is this much icing and candy around??
Hooray for a successful crafting afternoon...the first of many I am sure!!
My girls love to craft and spend time with all of their friends, so this was the ultimate afternoon for them! Thanks Tricia and Longhorn cheerleaders!
