Let's Go, Let's Go, L-E-T-S G-O!!

This weekend has been cheer crazy!! Our 6 year old Corin is a pee wee league football cheerleader for the Longhorns and has games every Saturday, and she and Leah cheered during the first quarter of the Wakeland High School game on Friday night with Little Miss Cheer.

Corin LOVED Little Miss Cheer...Leah, not so much! She isn't into crowds and loud noises and I would say there were at least 100 little cheerleaders running around along with all of the other football game noises. So here we are before the game, happy and excited and ready to go!
And here we are during the game. Corin watching the game and following the cheers, Leah hand to face standing in a total daze. It's her go to move when she gets nervous!
I think we have successfully determined that cheerleading is just not Leah's thing! But that's okay, I think one Lang cheerleader might be enough :) The boys had a great time watching the game and running all over the stands and once Leah was off the field, she was so happy to be there!
My eyes are a little crazy here, but everyone is looking forward and we have smiles so it works! After a late night dinner we got all of these cuties home and in bed. Fast forward to Saturday afternoon. The FFL Longhorns lost another game, but Corin was a fantastic cheerleader! Each week someone on her squad earns the spirit stick and this week she got it! She has been trying so hard and practicing all of the time. She talks about what she needs to do to win it every day! Way to go Coriniac!!
Here's a video of their pregame and halftime performance...they are definitely a work in progress, but still pretty stinking cute!

It was a busy day, but the Longhorns and Red Raiders won and to make it even better, the Aggies lost, so It has been one awesome Saturday!

I bleed burnt orange, do you??!!
